Open Days
On November 10-11, the DAISMUN program hosted its annual fall conference. In the span of two days, with two committees, joined by students from the DAIS Model UN ASA, visiting students from the Ealing International School, and Xi'an Hanova International School, delegates collaborated to tackle solutions for real-world issues.
This year's theme was "Redefining the Impossible." Just decades ago, the sky seemed like the limit, but now we have airplanes and rockets that take us beyond what was ever imagined. With this in mind, delegates were encouraged to push beyond current boundaries to embrace and provide solutions for the seemingly absurd: to witness the impossible turn possible.
As per tradition, after each conference, the chairs of each committee pick out a best and outstanding delegate. Congratulations to Misa for winning UNGA Best Delegate and John for UNGA Outstanding Delegate, to Myungha for UNODC best delegate and Julius for UNODC outstanding delegate.
